The raised relief holds the center of Ostrava with the Ostravice running north through it: the streets of Moravská Ostrava on the west bank, the heights of Slezská Ostrava climbing on the east. Around it, the printed map follows the river north and spreads west over flatter ground.

The hills on the east bank give the relief most of its height, about 90 meters above the river, in twelve layers of color. Every contour, road and stretch of water comes from open map data and is simplified until the city reads from across a room. The relief is printed on our own printer and mounted on a card with the city's name and coordinates, then framed in oak or black, ready to hang.
