London
The raised relief follows the Thames through its bend at Westminster and the South Bank, from Lambeth in the southwest to the City near the top edge, with the bridges stitching both banks together. Around it, the printed map spreads the streets of central London north toward Bloomsbury and south through Southwark.
London's center is nearly level: about 43 meters of rise across the map, which the relief keeps as nine shallow layers climbing gently north from the river. The Thames and the streets carry the piece. Every road and riverbank comes from open map data, simplified so the city reads from across a room. The relief is printed on our own printer and mounted on a card with the city's name and coordinates, then framed in oak or black, ready to hang.
