The raised relief holds the old city around the harbor: the Inner Harbor cutting across it toward the sea, the canals and old ramparts of Christianshavn on the far bank, and the star-shaped Kastellet at the northern edge. Around it, the printed map reaches the lakes to the west and the open water toward the Øresund.

Copenhagen is nearly flat: about 22 meters of rise across the whole map, in four quiet layers of relief, so the water does most of the drawing. The harbor, canals and streets come from open map data, simplified so the city reads from across a room. The relief is printed on our own printer and mounted on a card with the city's name and coordinates, then framed in oak or black, ready to hang.
