The raised relief holds the old town of České Budějovice, a compact block of streets between the Vltava and the Malše, where the two rivers meet on its western side. Around it, the printed map spreads across the flat basin, its streams and small ponds, with roads running out in every direction.

The basin is nearly flat, about 45 meters from the riverbanks to the highest ground on the map, so the relief steps up gently in twelve shallow layers. Every contour, road and stretch of water comes from open map data, simplified so the city reads from across a room. We print it on our own printer, mount it on a card with the city's name and coordinates, and frame it in oak or black, ready to hang.
