The raised relief follows the Teplá through the narrow, winding valley of the spa quarter, from the south up to where it meets the Ohře at the top edge of the piece. Steep hills close in on both sides, highest to the east, and the printed map carries them on around the town, with the Ohře and the roads beside it running across the top.

Across the map the land rises about 290 meters from the riverbed to the hilltops, stepped into twelve layers of color. Every contour, road and stream comes from open map data, simplified so the valley reads from across a room. It is printed on our own printer and mounted on a card with the city's name and coordinates, then framed in oak or black, ready to hang.
